Equipment doesn't matter. - quality does matter price does not!. there is a lot of gear that sounds great and is not expensive. there is a lot of gear that is expensive and sounds great. i would not want to get rid of my weiss eq1 mkii for any reason. E.q. for mastering. - best digital eq for the money would have to be the weiss eq1 mkii. Loaded question. What are you looking for? if you are looking for a cheaper route, stick with plugins.
