I recently bought an rme multiface and pci card and would be curious to hear if anyone has/is using it with the deeps...

What's the best use for my 1 firewire connection? - probably the best connection would be to firewire hub. 8)

The ah pres will just as good / bad (depending on how you want to look at it) as the rme octamic pres. The tla pres are probably a bit better than the rest you mentioned....

Rme hammerfall 9632 / totalmix software - yep, its the hdsp. was just lazy typing. latency free monitoring would be enough all by itself. i picked up the optional balanced pig tail for it too. i'm really hopeful that this card and the pair of 'bricks'
