What tool is needed to remove the cv joings, looks like a 12 point or something.

Symptoms:
1) high beam light on the dash comes on very dim when the lights are on
2) left-hand headlamp very dim, both dipped and high beam
3) with the lights off, the headlamps raise when the flasher is operated

btw, pistons are flat-tops, only with valve reliefs.
check the turbos (k36 iirc), they're with 3-bolt flanges, like 931 units

I decided to try out some led brake, parking, and reverse lights (turn indicators require new flasher can and i wanted to check the regular stuff first).
