Crappy location power - i have gotten to the point where i simply expect the power on location to be completely substandard. i do not ever travel to a gig without a furman ar117 or ar1215 voltage regulator and power conditioner. i have a lot of location

Hmm, you could travel with a ups, but they're heavy as hell. for anyone that doesn't know, the right ones are wonderful power conditioners because they convert incoming ac into dc, and then back to a pure, steady sinusoid....
