Berlingo saying stop

My berlingo 2.0 hdi flashed the stop dash lamp and beeped at me over the weekend. Not doing anything unusual, just accelerating away after turning onto a roundabout. Did all the sensible things: clutch down and cruise to a stop....

Setting the clock

Yes i know it makes me sound like a blonde but.... how do you set the clock in a berlingo, i've done it before but cant remember how, it involves some combination of the reostat button and the trip reset button...

Hmmmm....It failed again this morning then the fault disappeared just as quickly. just had a thought. When i first got the car the rev counted would very occasionally 'dip'...Other times the radio would cut out for a fraction of a second....
